Qualifications / Requirements:
● MACTE accredited Montessori 0-3 or 3-6 training, AMI preferred
● Currently able to legally work in Canada
● Effective communication & interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills, including
parent education & record keeping
● Passionate about working with children, kind and nurturing
● Experience working with children 0-6
● A positive attitude and a love of learning
● Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
● Valid Standard First Aid certificate recognized by WSIB, negative TB test & immunization
records
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Provide an authentic Montessori experience while maintaining a beautiful classroom
● Deliver engaging educational experiences to the parent community
● Participate in all Curriculum Evenings and Parent/Teacher Conferences
● Maintain record-keeping and planning systems
Start Date:
● August 26, 2024
Compensation:
● Salary will depend on experience and training
● Provincial Wage Enhancement
● On-going Professional Development
● Discount on tuition for children of Staff
● 4 weeks paid vacation, summers off
Duration:
● On-going contract
Hours:
● Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.- 4:00p.m.
