If you have a passion for Montessori pedagogy and hold an appreciation for the natural world, this is the career opportunity for you! Salmon Arm is a slower paced, picturesque, lake town in the heart of the British Columbian mountains.
We offer a traditional Montessori three-hour Uninterrupted Work Cycle in the morning and then embark on regular afternoon adventures in nature with our students. We are seeking a lead Montessori educator to teach our morning work cycle and co-teach our afternoon Nature Study Program.

Preference will be given to applicants interested in completing the three-year-cycle at minimum.
Requirements:
- Montessori Teaching Diploma (AMI or MACTE)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Clear criminal record
- First Aid
- Creative abilities must be well developed.
Compensation:
- For those holding a current BC Early Childhood Educator License:
$31 per hour - For those without a current BC Early Childhood Educator License:
$25 per hour - Two weeks of paid vacation time each year
- Extended health and dental benefits
Hours:
30 – 40 per week”
