We are looking for AMI Certified Teachers who will be responsible for implementing an
authentic Montessori curriculum for children in the primary level.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must be able to provide the following
licenses/certifications:
● AMI Diploma (Primary Level)
● BC Early Childhood Educator/Assistant Certificate
● First Aid CPR AED Certicate
● Criminal Record Check
General Qualifications & Key Responsibilities
● Demonstrates a solid grasp of Montessori philosophy and child development
● Maintain a high-quality and organized environment
● Create open and honest lines of communication between parents and team
members and always exemplified professionalism
● Provide daily reporting and record-keeping – attendance, allergy, medication,etc.
● Display strong classroom management skills
● Willingness to learn and exemplify a growth mindset
● Ability to express effectively in English, both verbal and written
● French is not a requirement but is an asset
