Glenayre Montessori Centre is seeking an AMI trained Primary Guide. We are a very well-established Montessori school that offers a full day Montessori program for children aged 30 months to school age. We pride ourselves on having long term staff, with very little turnover, and are amongst a wonderful parent community. We are located very close to the Burquitlam area, on the school grounds of Glenayre Elementary School. We are seeking a teacher to work full time in one of our classrooms starting in July/August 2026.
Qualifications Required:
· AMI Montessori Primary Diploma
· BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate
· Child Care First Aid
· Clean Criminal Record Check
Skills Required:
· Must be responsible, mature and dedicated
· Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Must be patient and caring and able to guide children effectively
· Must be able to maintain a safe, clean and happy environment
· Must have open communication with staff and parents
· Must be able to work both as a team and individually
