The Wonderworld Montessori Academy – Metrotown, Burnaby location has a facility area of 13,948 sq. ft. in total, capable of hosting 161 children.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic AMI Primary Guide. We welcome you to join our growing team of exceptional educators.

GUIDE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have AMI Primary Diploma
• Must have ECE or ECEA license and certification
• Experience in Montessori classroom
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Criminal Record Check

A successful candidate must meet the following Criteria:

• A passion for working with children
• Excellent teaching skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with children, staff and parents
• Exceptional classroom management, behavior management skills and organizational skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively with staff and parents and create an inclusive learning environment
• Highly responsible in ensuring a caring and safe educational environment for children
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Montessori philosophy and child development.
• Display flexibility, accountability and integrity
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Highly organized with a good work ethic
