Located in beautiful North Vancouver, British Columbia, (1325 East Keith Rd)
Requirements applicants must have:
•AMI Montessori Casa Certificate
•ECE certification
•Current First Aid certification
Duties:
•Provide instruction that is consistent with the principles of the Montessori Method of Education (as recognized and promulgated by Association of Montessori Internationale) to the children assigned to her/his care.
•Collaborate to develop and implement a program that supports and promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
•Lead and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities inclusive of the Montessori curriculum.
•Observe children and collaborate with team to assess and track overall progress.
•Models integrity, curiosity, responsibility, creativity and respect for all persons as well as an appreciation of racial, cultural, gender issues and diversity.
•Attend staff meetings.
•Assist in the preparation of classroom materials.
•Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
•Ensure the safety and physical well-being of the students at all times.
