Your Role

As a Montessori Casa Teacher at Tiddlycove, you will play a meaningful role in shaping young learners during their most formative years. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences rooted in early childhood development
  • Foster a child-centered, respectful, and inclusive classroom where every child feels seen and supported
  • Create a calm, safe, and inspiring environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress
  • Support individual learning needs, including children requiring additional support
  • Collaborate with your team to maintain a cohesive and enriching program
  • Contribute to a well-organized, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
  • Participate in mentorship, teamwork, and ongoing program development

Qualifications

  • Valid ECE or ECEA certification (required)
  • AMI, MACTE or equivalent Montessori certification
  • Experience working with children ages 3–5 in a preschool or childcare setting
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of inclusive and supportive teaching practices
  • A genuine commitment to professional growth and long-term career development
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
