PEAK is a newly accredited BC Independent (Micro) School opening in the Comox Valley, on the East Coast of Vancouver Island and we’re looking for our founding Elementary (6-12) Co Guide/Administrator to help us build something unique.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape an authentic Montessori program from the ground up — the culture, the programs, the community alongside a dynamic team of Montessori professionals.
What you’ll do:
✦ Facilitate Montessori-guided, individualized learning
✦ Prepare and maintain a rich classroom environment
✦ Manage day-to-day school operations and family communication
✦ Help build systems, routines, and culture from scratch
✦ Build a collaborative partnership and mentorship with Head Guide
What we’re looking for:
✦ Montessori certification (AMI/AMS)
✦ BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility)
✦ 5+ years of teaching/leadership experience
✦ A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, start-up environment
✦ Someone committed to delivering high fidelity Montessori programming
What we offer:
✦ Full-time, permanent position starting August 2026
✦ Competitive compensation package; Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 based on experience
