Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced A.M.I Head Teacher to lead one of our Infant/Toddler Classrooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare courses for presentation to students according to approved AMI Montessori Infant/Toddler curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents to maintain a collaborative educational environment
  • Organize and manage school activities, events, and programs
  • Educate and mentor children ages 1-3 years to support their academic and personal growth
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Experience working with children to create a supportive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops
  • May supervise assistants, teacher’s aides and student teachers

Qualifications:

Requirements applicants must have:

  • A.M.I Montessori Infant/Toddler Diploma
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Criminal record check required
  • ECE/IT Certification
  • Minimum two years of Montessori teaching experience
  • Must be completely fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage classroom effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25-$30 per hour Plus $6 per hour ECE wage enhancement (for ECE Certificate Holders)
